Will I be a "slow" loser?

Recommended Posts

I tend to get a little depressed when I go 3 or 4 days with no change, but I have discovered that my body takes time every now and then to rearrange what is left, before proceeding. Magically, on the next day, I lose a chunk of about 3 lbs. Strange, but true

Take measurements - when you hit a stall - take your measurements again - even though you may not see the scale moving, you will see inches lost and that should be a great motivator to you ... it's amazing how the inches seem to melt off even if the scale isn't moving - the scale will move again - so if you hit a stall - put the scale away for a week, take your measurements and don't stress over it - you will lose!

VegasAngel - Definitely doing the measurements. I never did that before on diets & while I really don't want to know what those are, I know it will help when I feel like I'm not making progress. Thanks!

Had a sleeve in 2017, lost over 100 pounds. Had a DS surgery this year (2025) for more sustainable weight loss. 🤞

The 14th was my day. I am home and recovery is going pretty smooth. They even let me walk out of the hospital. Picture of me in recovery curtesy of my boyfriend lol.

Neat you have a pic of this day! I was sooo happy to get my surgery. It was well worth it! And I'm not even near my goal. I had surgery Dec. 2!
