Jessiebear 2 Posted May 25, 2006 Has anyone else received a survey from Inamed through their e-mail? It was a survey on new pre & post-op surgery kits to purchase. Also kits for post-fills & plateaus. They wanted to know what you thought of having these kits for purchase. Just wondering. TTYL!
*susan* 1,709 Posted May 25, 2006 I haven't received anything, but maybe I haven't been banded long enough. Either that, or my spam filter caught it and deleted it.
PhotoNut 7 Posted May 25, 2006 What was in the kits, Jess?
nightingale2u 42 Posted May 25, 2006 I got the survey... I'm not sure how I feel about paying for the pre-op packet or the immediate post-op packet. Some of the items mentioned were vitamins... Protein shakes... soy supplements (shakes and snacks) informational booklets... dietary suggestions... list of "when to call your surgeon"... pedometer... diet/exercise journal... cookbook... food ideas for the liquid stages...etc.
j.s. 0 Posted May 26, 2006 I too got that survey. I thought some of the things mentioned were good (esp. the plataue stuff since I seem to have moved into a huge plataue) but as far as paying for them, I gave no price. I felt like some of that should just be offered automatically.
Marimaru 7 Posted May 26, 2006 Wow, I haven't received anything about a survey, but based only on what I've read in this thread, I don't think they should charge for that stuff... A band is $3000 by itself, it wouldn't kill them to throw $50 to $100 worth of stuff in with it....
