Felecia 0 Posted December 27, 2009 So glad to have this resource of knowledge from all of you! I have been lurking on this site up until now. I had surgery surgery 12-22 and for the first 48 hours really was questioning my decision, They had some trouble waking me up and getting me out of the recovery room and once in th hospital room I had horrible nasuea and dry heavs for the next 18 hours, so painfull. That has all subsided and now I am just dealing pain in my back on the left but right sided pain where my biggest scar will be. More than happy to be on this side of surgery and closer to recovery! kermit_ojp 0 Posted December 27, 2009 I'm sure things will get better from here on out. I was sleeved the day before you on 12/21. I, too, was questioning my decision, and I really didn't have ANY problems after surgery. So I'm pretty sure it's normal. I was doing great until this morning. I really wasn't drinking enough Water or Protein drinks post-op and it caught up with me today. I was lethargic, sleepy, nauseous, and could not snap out of it. I made the decision to hydrate myself out of it, instead of going to the hospital for an IV....and good thing I did, as I feel 100 times better this evening. So.....I have to make sure I have a drink in my hands at all times. This is the only way that keeps me drinking constantly. Keep me posted on your experience! I think these next few weeks are crucial for us.
