cissy 0 Posted May 25, 2006 OK- I started exercising with Turbo Jam a little over a month ago. (and I am totally addicted) I have not lost a single pound since April 14th (still at 195) but I have lost a total of 10" in this period of time. 10 inches! That brings my total inches lost since surgery date to 30 1/2 inches. Two and a half feet of volume gone forever! I'm pumped. Measurements 9/14/05 vs. 4/18/06 vs. 5/24/06 bust: 47 1/2 ---> 43 ---> 42 (-5 1/2) chest: didn't measure in the beginning ---> 40 1/2 ---> 38 (-2 1/2 with turbo jam) waist: 48 ---> 39 ---> 35 (-13) hips: 51 ---> 45 1/2 ---> 43 (-8) thigh: 28 ---> 25 ---> 25 (-3) arm: 15 ---> 14 1/2 ---> 14 (-1) I started out a size 22W, and I have gone from a size 16 to a 14 in just the last month. PhotoNut 7 Posted May 25, 2006 Go, Cissy, go! I'd rather weigh more and be lean and fit, than weight less and be soft and flabby. You're doing wonderfully! Keep up the great work!
Jachut 487 Posted May 25, 2006 Its truly amazing how much you can change in size and shape without changing weight. I dropped an entire size virtually overnight with a net loss of a measly 2lb. I was atounded. The first size I dropped, it took me 14kg to do it - that's over 30lb.

cissy 0 Posted May 25, 2006 Woo Hoo CIssy! WHat's a Turbo Jam???? LOL... maybe need to get out more. Still... that is an awesome reminder that the scale is not the only way we should all measure our success! WTG girl! Turbo Jam is a series of workouts in the Beach Body line. It's a combination of kicks, punches, and dancing. I got it...looked it up. I would love to try something like this, but I always end up quitting because I can't follow what they're doing. Is this one easier? It looks hard! Once I got the hang of the steps, it was easy to follow, not so easy on getting out of breath. It's fun to me! The music gets you going. I hardly broke a sweat in the beginning, but I figured out it was because I wasn't working as hard as I could have been. Now I sweat a pretty good deal on the 20-minute workout, but on the 45-minute workout I get soaked!
