Does anyone jog?

I am having my sleeve done on Jan. 21st. I want to start jogging. How long do you have to wait after the surgery before you can run? I know you can walk right away but how about jogging?

I hate to walk, and jogging is pure torture for me. I would ask your surgeon for his specific recommendation on the running/jogging.

For me at least there was definite discomfort when trying to run for the first 4-5 weeks after surgery, the stitches felt tight. Now I'm 6.5 weeks out and I can run without any sense of discomfort.
