I make a yummy green curry tofu. Cubed tofu, fried in Pam until as much of the Water is out as you like. Take tofu off heat. Pam fry snap peas, carrots and water chestnuts on high heat. Add in 2T green curry sauce (and brand you like). Stirfry for about 5 min then add back in the tofu. My recipe has about 275 cals per serving and I usually can't eat it all.

I like to fry tofu in olive oil 0 cal spray with soy sauce. I then steam fresh green Beans and then stir fry with tofu and squeeze a bit of fresh lemon on it, yummy!

I love the Morningstar Farms sausage links and eat them quite often. Good Protein and not too bad in the other areas. Also like the burger cumbles and use for chili, spaghetti sauce, etc. Haven't had the chicken patties for ages but used to like them, too. I also use Worthington brand canned meat analogs but they are hard to find in some areas.

I also eat refried Beans and salsa a lot cuz it's easy when I come home from work tired and not wanting to cook.

Emily

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
