I'm latin with a lot of problems writing in English!!... anybody?? ok, I will try... well, I was reading that you can "qualify" for a lapband just if you are obese... so, are you obese is your BMI is 64.44 if your weigtht is 145 and height is 150 cms. En un BMI bajo de 35 usted puede ser requerido tener co-morbosidades tales como diabetes, Tension arterial Alta, etc. Un BMI de 44 es generalmente una buena base para comenzar donde los seguros pagaran. Si usted es paga del uno mismo entonces usted puede ser tan bajo como 35BMI, usted puede tener la cirugia y calificaria facilmente. English Translation in case my Spanish is off: Most insurances require that you be over 35BMI. At a low BMI of 35 you may be required to have co-morbidities such as Diabetes, High Blood Pressure, etc. A BMI of 44 is usually a good base to start where insurances will pay.
