DownInSocal 12 Posted October 30, 2009 I have had some minor complications, if you could even call them that. Mostly just my body and I learning to get along again in a different nutritional enviroment. I would do it 100 times again. Honestly.
Finally! 0 Posted October 31, 2009 Would absolutely do it again. My first two months were hell - but I'd never want to go back to that kind of hopelessness and constant trying of the past. Happy I had it done, and have sent my brother & my best friend to Dr. Aceves. I'm down 50 pounds and can focus on something besides my weight!
lucygoose 0 Posted November 10, 2009 Hi bigdd, I guess you are in Mexico having your surgery today. I am sending prayers and good wishes. I have surgery scheduled with Dr. Alvarez also on Dec 8th so I am really looking forward to hearing about your experience. Take Care.
bigdd 0 Posted November 10, 2009 Hi Lucygoose Bigdd had surgery today at 9 a.m. and was back in the room by 10:10, he has pretty much slept the afternoon away but woke up around 4:30 -coherent. He says so far he is in no pain. The nurses are 100% nice. Tomorrow he is to get up and start walking. The Dr's and the Anestesiologist are also very nice -
