stoongal 10 Posted September 21, 2009 Those of you who have reached your goal weights or close to it, have you noticed if your feet have shrunk enough to warrant a different size?Curious, as I had bought expensive but comfy shoes for summer as they are open mesh and opentoe and strapheels. I am concerned that they may be too big for me next summer. What do you think? anyone had that problem?
BeardedItalian48 3 Posted September 21, 2009 :scared0:Smart ass that I am.... MY shoes dont fit anymore....my feet have grown LIKE everything else...ask vegasangel :cursing: You know what they say about big feet....woohoooooo LOL
Tiffykins 673 Posted September 21, 2009 My feet have shrunk substantially. None of my shoes fit and I'm still 40lbs from goal. I used to wear an 8.5Wide, now I can wear a 7.5 or 8 regular width(depending on the style of shoe). Some flip flops I still need an 8.5, but tennis shoes, or runners I need a 7.5. I was more upset about my shoes not fitting than I was about my clothes. I seriously love shoes ! ! !
burnsun 27 Posted September 21, 2009 Mine did too! With the band loss originally it was almost a wwhole size........ so I got to be a 9 or 9 1/2 (who hoo....sarcasm here......still huge and limited cheap options) but I used to be and 10 1/2 or an 11. I also lost some width too! BUT I COULD BUY BOOTS OFF THE RACK................that was amazing and of course expensive!
Malaika 50 Posted September 22, 2009 My shoes -at least all the summer sandals (mostly mules) are too big and my feet slip in them if I have to walk any distance. I haven't tried any new shoes on yet, but am sure that I will no longer need a wide width and am hoping a smaller size.
MacMadame 81 Posted September 22, 2009 My shoes got loose right away. I still take the same size most of the time but my feet aren't as wide so all the wide styles I used to wear are too big.
dange25 57 Posted September 22, 2009 im only a month and a half out and already i have had to adjust the buckel on my fav shoes. *susan* 1,709 Posted September 22, 2009 Mine shrunk too. I have gone from a 9W to a normal width 8 1/2. I am amazed at how much cuter the shoes are just from going down that tiny bit.
zephra 5 Posted May 2, 2010 I can't imagine buying shoes that aren't wide. So much more variety!
OMG123 0 Posted May 21, 2010 From the guy side, my feet have shrunk. I went from an 11 1/2 wide to just a plain old 11 now!!!!
ouroborous 519 Posted May 25, 2010 I wear an 11 1/2 wide. I'd be HAPPY to be just plain 11 or 11 1/2. It's a pain (literally and figuratively) to find shoes that fit properly!
Brandi Lewis 6 Posted April 19, 2012 Mine have shrunk big time. Feet, fingers, body, only thing that still fits are my earrings lol. I love it.
SKCUNNINGHAM 298 Posted April 28, 2012 Brandi - what a great line about the earrings - I may use that with friends! I had my feet measured at a shoe store yesterday. My feet have dropped a half a size in length and have gone back to a medium width. So now, I am getting rid of the shoes I bought when I was at my highest weight and going back to the size I was years ago. Too bad I had gotten rid of most of the shoes in THAT size ages ago. DAMN - I am being FORCED to buy shoes - what a burden! (evil smile) Sharon
