I'm an over-made-up, morbidly obese, mostly grey-haired, smoking, nail-filing phone sex operator in an independent film that was actually shown at a couple of indy festivals in L.A.

I've never seen it. I think I'd be horrified now. (But with the recent weight loss, maybe I could tell people it was not really me, just my sister. I mean, even my doctor says I'm "a whole new person." Would that work?)

LOL. I'd love to see that, Sue! It did cross my mind to just 'go for it'. Then, I have this ambivalence about believing much on the net. After what I've been through here (on the net), I'm more inclined to think it's some hateful person pulling my strings. I'm jaded  Unfortunately, people keep proving to me that I'm naive to think that people are basically good and honest. It sucks to have that innocence taken from you. So I hesitate.. .

Just for the record, I wanted to let all of you know that back in 2000 I left my Thinking Cap in the Labor & Delivery room. Ive been calling the Lost and Found weekly, but nothing yet...

I'm convinced that brain cells are sucked out during delivery. At least, that's my excuse. :heh:

Leatha ~ I can understand the hesitation with the offer coming via net. It's kind of fun to fantasize though isn't it? We live in a day and age where we can't always trust the motivations of people, ESPECIALLY on the net. There are trolls, pedophiles, rapists and much more we can't even imagine. We are raising our children in a tough time, that's for sure. All the more reason to have them in church IMO.

Oh!!! I didn't get PAID!!! Our kid was a theater major in college and worked in some big box office films and had/has friends in the industry...so I was "drafted."

"Mom? X's boyfriend is making his film, and it's costing him SOOOO much money and can we film some of it HERE? Oh...and would you be in the mood to do a bit part? No biggie."

Yeah, right.

NewSho, my mind is spinning out of control after reading your post so I called Webster and asked them to replace my photo with yours next to the word, Survivor. Your experience outwits mine by far (I'm the famous 2 port girl that never had a port - both new ports became infected and had to be immediately removed and eventually infected tube popped out of my infected wound, true freak here.) I'm dying to read the rest of this thread but something's wrong with my puter, and it won't let me get to pages 3 and 4. Oh noooo!

I really need to come here more often. I am so lost as to what has been going on here lately. This new format we use here at LBt gets me all confused. I seem to miss alll the new posts. Lisa kudos to you girl...failure is not a word in my vocabulary either! Nobody here at LBT in my opinion is a failure

LOL! Ok, I'll hold Penni60 from behind and TellyMelly you pretend like you are going to feed her those cheetos and then right before she takes a bite, switch it with celery. We'll make her budge yet!

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

      2. BlondePatriotInCDA

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
