Cindy 0 Posted September 15, 2009 Thanks! Can you tell me how to get the ticker at the bottom of my page?
Bob_350lbs 105 Posted September 15, 2009 Cindy, 9/24 will be your new birthday, congratulations on your brand spanking new life! We have about the same starting weight and goal wt, so we are gonna get skinny together~ P.S. I can't update my tickler, but now it's at 25 lbs and I am wearing 16WP not my old 22WP. Yaaay! Tiffykins 673 Posted September 15, 2009 Go to tickerfactory.com Create your ticker to your preference. Once you've chosen the Ticker, come back here and to go to edit signature under the User CP tab at the top of the forum. Copy and Paste the bbCode. Preview your signature to ensure it's what you want, and that the code pasted correctly. When you want to update it, you just click on the ticker here, and put in your PIN. You can update all the information pretty quickly.
Malaika 50 Posted September 15, 2009 Welcome to the family Cindy - congrats on your surgery date, too -- your new life is going to be beginning soon and you'll be on the path to a new, healthy life! In addition to what Tiff told you about the ticker -most importantly remember to SAVE YOUR SIGNATURE (it's towards the bottom of the page) or you'll have to start all over again. Any questions - ask away - someone will have an answer or opinion for you - we're all here for the same reason so don't think it's a stupid question or whatever - if you need an answer, ask the question! Bob_350lbs 105 Posted September 16, 2009 (edited) I think you will find that everyone is different. For the first three days, all the supplements I sampled and bought prior to the VG, made me gag. For some odd reason, my stomach want to wretch anything with artificial sweetners in it. The only I could take in was Water, clear broth and 2% milk for Protein. Then on day 3, my body must have adjusted to the trauma it went through, and I was able to drink the supplement that came with my package deal. I prefer the non-milky shakes. I liked the Healthwise drinks in fruit flavor and the WonderSlim Soups. Now, I really prefer to buy the bullets and dilute w/32 oz Water, a little Crystal light and take it to work with me in my water bottle. But, I am on week 7 now and variety is the spice of life to me, I prefer to have 6 small real food mini Protein Snacks and the bullet to get in all the extra protein we need so we don't have muscle wasting.
