deedee 5 Posted September 9, 2009 I've been tracking my food intake on thedailyplate some days for the last two weeks. I'm usually between 400-550 calories (I'm 5 weeks out). That is my total calories. My net calories (they subtract calories burned during exercise) usually fall between 100-300. Is this okay for right now or should I work on eating more calories? Thanks for any input you have.
MacMadame 81 Posted September 9, 2009 In the early days, it's just not possible to eat more IME unless you start in on some bad habits. You'll be able to eat more as you go a long and your calories will just naturally go up. But your weight loss will slow down, too, so it's a mixed bag.
Jaffa 5 Posted September 12, 2009 In the long run, it shouldn't really matter. But, if you want to keep the max weight loss going exercise will keep your metabolism from falling and keep you from feeling tired. But, in reality, exercise really just helps you feel better and burns calories, the actual metabolic increase after you stop exercising is minimal.
