My wedding ring is too big and I won't be able to wear it for much longer.

It's a good thing cause I'm getting smaller but also a bad thing as I don't want to have it sized multiple times so I will have to go without it for a quite a while until I get to goal

I have been excluded from participating in my employers weight loss challenge. The supervisor said im too small. Never thought that would happen in life.

Finally decided to get my rings sized down 4 sizes! $$ but I cannot believe my fingers are this small! My drivers license picture does not work anymore. Guess it's time for the dreaded dmv line ????

this morning I was walking the dog at "dark thirty" wearing a tee shirt that I honestly thought before was just skimpy on the fabric as I bought it at Target last year. sometimes cheaper stores cut their shirts shorter.... anyway. I used to have to tug at it so my belly wouldn't sneak out and show someone (that belly I had was quite a flasher) I must have been stretching it side to side -_-

well darn if that shirt doesn't hang past my hips to the top of my thighs now that this fat suit is melting away. I'm now in danger of the v neck revealing something more substantial than flashing my tummy! so glad I wear it with a sports bra.

@@CanadaLoser I just wear a smaller band style ring on top of my wedding set to keep it on.

That's so smart! Thanks!

I'm getting married 20 August and moved to the UK a few weeks ago (my fiance is a Brit and because he is in IT and has a very good job, we decided to settle in the UK because as a mortician, I can work anywhere). When I was going through the TSA line, they had to call a supervisor over since I don't look anything like my passport photo anymore. I'm even smaller than I was in my fiancee visa picture, so they were even skeptical of that! It finally took a biometric check to get through x.x. It's a good thing that after we're married, I have to get a new passport with my new last name on it because when I travel, I don't want to go through that again!

Finally took a trip to Mexico with the hubby and rocked a bikini all week. I did things that were way out of my comfort zone like paddle boarding & snorkeling. So happy to have made these life choices with surgery, nutrition & exercise!

@@livvsmum You look fantastic! Congrats! One of my "things to do after losing weight" is paddleboard! :-)

Thank you! It was so much fun and definitely not something I would have done before this!

Hi everyone! I’m brand new here. I just went through all my pre-op requirements per my insurance company and now everything has been submitted and I’m just waiting for final approval and my surgery date. I’ve been doing research, watching YouTube videos, TikTok’s, ect.. trying to prepare my mind and what to expect so I’ll be ready for the surgery. I was so sure and so set and so ready and excited. However, now that I’ve done everything & it’s almost here, I am sooooooo scared! I know why I want it bc I’ve tried everything and I just don’t feel like I can lose weight by myself. I’m tired of being overweight my entire life. I’m miserable, but I keep psyching myself out afraid of GERD bc I know how that can be and I don’t want to have to get a bypass after already gaining the courage to even get VSG. I’m scared of complications like I’mgoing to regret doing it and be depressed that I didn’t just be more disciplined and try again to lose the weight on my own even sitting here typing this knowing in my mind i just can’t and don’t possess the discipline. I’m also afraid I won’t be able to handle the restrictions of the sleeve. What do I eat? I don’t know how to eat healthy really and don’t enjoy healthy food. I don’t know how to do this! I feel so defeated!Someone tell me they felt anything similar to this or am I not ready? I thought I was. I am so tired of being sick and tired and so tired of myself and so tired of being stuck and stuck in this body and somebody different on the outside from what I feel inside. I just want to ball up and cry.

Had a sleeve in 2017, lost over 100 pounds. Had a DS surgery this year (2025) for more sustainable weight loss. 🤞

The 14th was my day. I am home and recovery is going pretty smooth. They even let me walk out of the hospital. Picture of me in recovery curtesy of my boyfriend lol.

Neat you have a pic of this day! I was sooo happy to get my surgery. It was well worth it! And I'm not even near my goal. I had surgery Dec. 2!
