popcorn

Recommended Posts

I'm one month out. When did y'all start eating popcorn. My husband cooked some last night but I wasn't sure it was ok for me to eat yet.

BTW....what does DH stand for?

DH = Dear or Darling Husband. Sometime it's mean sarcastically. :001_tongue:

My program says, once you are on solid food, to eat what you can tolerate. Try one new food a day and only a small amount.

I can't remember when I first had popcorn as it's not a food I am that into. But I know I just had a single handful to start.

Oh, kettle corn, yummy. Maybe I should just stay out of this thread!

I keep talking about eating it but not eating it. Maybe talking about it is enough for now.

kettle corn.

Not me. I am not just a big popcorn eater. It's too greasy for me.

Those 100 calorie microwave bags are good. they aren't greasy. At least then it's portion controlled. I am glad when I go to the movies, my sleeve does not let me eat as much as my band did. I eat a little bit of it and I feel so stuffed, it's not as appealing as it used to be when I could polish off a large bag with no problem.

My sleeve doesn't restrict popcorn. I wonder if this is because I'm so far out. Well, I don't know for sure it wouldn't restrict it eventually. I've only eaten the "small" size bag. Which is about 7-11 cups depending on the movie theater. It's still only about 300-400 calories, but it's not something I want to be doing all that often.
