(long term=many years)...don't panic!!!:001_cool: Google Acid Reflux Drugs May Up Fractures to find the article. It seems like any medication can lead to problems at times, but when used as needed and as prescribed, they can be a life saver too. :thumbup1: I've been on prilosec and nexium since they were released (years and years ago for prilosec) and had a bone density test 3 months ago. Everything was great - bones in great shape ... so agree that if taken as prescribed, it's okay -- anything taken to excess is dangerous. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
