NoMoreFadDiets 2 Posted May 30, 2012 Nice! My Lane Bryant leaflet came yesterday. I am in a loose 12 or snug but not tight 10. So I am wearing an 11. I can't bring myself to go into the Jr. Dept for the odd number sizes. Lol I was looking forward to being a 40 year old with the teenaged body I missed out on. Actually my senior year in high school I did Nutri-System and was a 11 but that was a short victory. There is a Flea Market here and they have used designer clothes for $1. That has been a blessing because I go through sizes so quick.
Brandi Lewis 6 Posted May 31, 2012 That is awesome. So proud for you. I started in a tight size 26/28 now in a 16. I can't wait to get into those size 12 clothes. What an amazing ride this weight loss has been. Happy and proud of all of us who took the committed road in this WLS ride!!! It has not been easy but it's been so worth it all!!! 2 Looking Ahead and mysleeve24 reacted to this

ksommers 0 Posted June 24, 2012 I am 9 months post opp and only lost 90 pounds. Is this normal? Should I contact my doctor?
Losingmama 27 Posted June 24, 2012 My surgery was October of 2008. Everyone loses weight differently. The funny thing is I had lost 150 lbs in a year and a half and was in a size 8, then got pregnant. Which was a shock, because my tubes were supposed to be tied, and we thought we were done. Needless to saythe hardest part was having to gain weight again. My little one is 18 months now, so I am ready to lose again. Thanks for all the posts. EdithM 0 Posted June 25, 2012 I am 9 months post opp and only lost 90 pounds. Is this normal? Should I contact my doctor? Hello Ksommer, Everyone looses weight differently. I lost most of my weight in the beginning, but I as I continued to loose weight -- the weight loose slowed down which I was happy about because I didnt want all that sagging skin. I just kept going forward, because I had a goal. Just make sure you do some form of exercising, even if it is just walking. Don't eat a lot of starchy foods and sugars and you will do fine. ksommers 0 Posted June 25, 2012 I go to the gym a lot. The only extra skin I really have are my arms. I'm losing inches still but my weight is staying the same. Thank you for the advise!
