Malaika 50 Posted July 1, 2009 Not to be indelicate...but how long after surgery before it's safe to be intimate again? When I asked my doctor that he said "Not here, please!" LOL And then explained anytime in which it was not painful to do so...TMI here perhaps, but I believe we waited about 1-1/2 weeks.
TennJenn 9 Posted July 1, 2009 Not to be indelicate...but how long after surgery before it's safe to be intimate again? My DH asked the same question! I jokingly told him 6 weeks (just like after my c-sections)! He was in shock! LOL! I am so mean.
burnsun 27 Posted July 1, 2009 My husband thought it would be six weeks too....and he was pouting (it has been a a horrible year with all the band problems and the emergency c section)...... then I jumped him about an hour after we got the kids in bed the night I got home! Still alive at this moment!

Oregondaisy 2,021 Posted July 2, 2009 I really can't remember how long I waited. I am sure it wasn't long because as soon as I got home from the hospital, I felt normal and really could not even tell I had surgery. I am betting it was the night I got home from the airport or the next morning.
