TennJenn 9 Posted July 1, 2009 Yes, I mixed it with Water. I thought I read somewhere that the nectar was acceptable on clears, but I wanted to verify that. I was hoping someone has already asked about it...if not, I'll email Nina to verify it.

i1Linda 15 Posted July 2, 2009 VitaLady is a great source but it's kind of expensive, isn't it? Is it cheaper to contact the manufacturer? They have some sort of sample deal they do. After you decide what you like this is the cheapest place I have found when you figure in shipping: Netrition.com - The Internet's Premier Nutrition Superstore! No matter how much you order it's only $4.95 for shipping. I'm waiting for two orders from there myself. Cheaper shipping doesn't help when I forget stuff and have to order twice. ;o) I am no help with nectar flavors, I'm the rare one that doesn't like any of them. Yep. You can order the sampler pack from Syntrax directly. Call 1-866-333-7403 and select customer service (they close at 5pm cst). You can place an order for 10 different flavors of single serve samples for $9.99 (shipping included). It's a great way to try all 10 flavors for $1 a piece. There are so many flavors it is a bit overwhelming. You can order only one per person but can order for different people in the same household. My husband isn't interested but I think I will order a pack for "him" anyway. :001_tongue:
TennJenn 9 Posted July 2, 2009 Thanks, Linda. I definitely want to try more flavors. That's a great way to try them all. :tongue_smilie:
Oregondaisy 2,021 Posted July 3, 2009 The Peanut Butter and chocolate from the site that WASa gave you is really good. I have a lot of different shake mixes because I like Protein Shakes. The PBchoc. is by far the smoothest. I use the magic bullet on all of them, but some of my other brands still have lumps in them, no matter how long I blend them up. BigGirlPanties 957 Posted September 10, 2012 Posted June 29, 2009 - 2:40 PM It makes me feel better to know I'm not the only one! I'll definitely have to give the nectar caribbean cooler a try. I also love my Propel strawberry Kiwi waters, so I thought I'd try the nectar in that flavor as well. I'm so hoping to find something I can live with & not gag every time I think about having to drink it! TennJenn...be careful with propel Water...check the calories...I went to a nutrition class on Saturday, and the instructor was drinking that until her trainer called it "adult koolaid" and looked at the label...25 calories per serving and 2 serving per bottle!!!! She was consuming 300 extra calories just from Propel water!!! Crystal Light has a strawberry kiwi...you may want to try that
Lynzee43 28 Posted September 11, 2012 Mybariatricpantry.com has a 10pk samples of nectar for $18.

Since they changed it, I've found it's actually too sweet.
Donedeal091212 5 Posted September 19, 2012 Thanks for the info!! Very helpful. Going to Vitamin Shoppe today to check it out. I'm 1 week post op and I already know I'm going to need a variety so I don't get bored or grossed out with the shakes everyday. I'll let you know what flavors I try. I really want something I could even mix with some Greek yogurt. Has anyone tried that?
