MyDecision 0 Posted June 4, 2009 I had the Vertical Sleeve 4/16/09. It was laproscopic day surgry and I went home a few hours after and was very comfortable. To date I've lost 35#'s. I'm walking "the loop" around my neighborhood every morning and that is .8 of a mile with no problem so I'll soon increase the distance. My Doctor is Peter Billings of Edmonds WA. He's someone I felt comfortable with from the start and takes the time to make sure you understand everything. The real wonderful thing is the 2 year program with nutritional consulting and physcial instruction. Getting the Water in is still difficult but am working on that as well. I have alot of challenges around me right now but must remmember "You can't take care of anyone else if you haven't taken care of yourself!"
Elisabethsew 50 Posted June 4, 2009 Congratulations on your surgery. It sounds like you're working the program successfully and have already lost a lot of weight!
