☠carolinagirl☠ 18,721 Posted October 4, 2013 Wow. Amazing you have changed your life so much. Happy to see positive answers to this question. Lots of negativity. Don't want that. Happy for us! i changed my life with the help of my chosen WLS and also because it was getting hard to wipe my butt...it was a decision that needed to be made...no need for negative as we deal with that 24/7 and in our lives at work and elsewhere and on this forum...does no one any good and accomplishes nothing....it is what it is......and if one wants to lose weight, they either help the band or WLS or they dont......i merely chose too thanks for the very nice words. made me smile today and lord knows i am gonna need it today. 1 jfc193 reacted to this
lellow 1,713 Posted October 4, 2013 I loved it so much I did it twice. Once where I lost all my excess weight and kept it off fro 3 years, and then again when my band started leaking. Got a new one and am back in maintenance. 3 ☠carolinagirl☠, jfc193 and Julie norton reacted to this
GuyMontag 1,264 Posted October 4, 2013 I would definitely have WLS again but I would look into the sleeve more closely this time.
sunnysidega 177 Posted October 7, 2013 Definitely! Been banded over 10 years! Certainly haven't been the perfect bandster but have not had the first problem with my band. It's hard telling what my weight would be or if I would even be alive had I not done it. Working back towards my goal weight. I have learned so much about myself and what has contributed to my weight issues. Tomorrow I will be 63 years old and very healthy. 3 jfc193, GuyMontag and es1120 reacted to this
