Hope this is the right place to post this question but what has everyone done to prevent scarring on the incisions?

The dermatologist I worked for always suggested plain vaseline on surgical sites to speed healing and reduce scars. I haven't been as diligent this time... However you can't see where I had my gall bladder removed!

I use mederma but I think vaseline or cocoa butter would do just as well. Its a time thing. They'll go away or at least fade pretty good.

Vitamin E oil is great -- Trader Joe's makes a nice one that is not too sticky.

I'm using a product called NeriumAD. It's advertised for anti aging but it's also incredible for lightening/diminishing scars. I'm only 24 and use it on my face too lol. I'm so in love I started selling it. Let me know if you want more info to look at )
