Not smart to

Recommended Posts

Watch food Network during mushy stages, lol.

That made me laugh. Not only did I stop watching the Food Network while I was on the preop diet, I found that it was better if I didn't watch it at all. I'm 8 1/2 months banded and it's no longer a channel I watch.

When I was in that stage I was on Facebook looking and recipes that everyone was posting haha. Not smart either.

Top Chef is a good show for me too watch... the portions are small and usually there is at least one ingredient that I don't care for but the people are interesting and passionate about food :-)

Sort of like food Porn lol

I watch the Chew and try to figure out how to make the food low cal, carb, etc. I just watch the people and not the food. Never thought of it as Food Porn, but maybe tlbutler is correct.

Had a sleeve in 2017, lost over 100 pounds. Had a DS surgery this year (2025) for more sustainable weight loss. 🤞

The 14th was my day. I am home and recovery is going pretty smooth. They even let me walk out of the hospital. Picture of me in recovery curtesy of my boyfriend lol.

Neat you have a pic of this day! I was sooo happy to get my surgery. It was well worth it! And I'm not even near my goal. I had surgery Dec. 2!
