3mommy 52 Posted September 26, 2013 Had my first fill on Monday and today I ate a peice of turkey and cheese for lunch and I guess I swallowed without chewing too good and I felt it go down weird. I took a sip of a drink and I felt the coldness trickle down with the food sooo weird. I'm just glad it passes down. Neverrrrrr want to get stuck lol. Vanessa2009 13 Posted September 27, 2013 I am so afraid of that! Still on liquids so it's not a concern quite yet. My dr makes me do liquids for a few days after a fill. Maybe you should try that till the swelling goes down?
ameyer30 132 Posted September 27, 2013 Ok how do you know something is stuck? I'm 9 days post-op and still on liquids but I'm curious. I hear it's painful, what are you supposed to do?

I got nauseas too and my husband said the look on my face lol. I felt the drink like coldly go down and I guess it was trickling through the food idk how to explain in, and then I felt the food pass. I'm just glad it didn't stay stuck. I did mushy food until wed night like the doc said. I guess I just ate too fast and have to get used to more restriction as before this fill I had nothing in the band.

Sometimes if you sit up straight and don't slouch it will go through.
