lovechunks 0 Posted May 16, 2006 How long should I wait to go to the chiropractor and get my back adjusted? I get my mid back aligned aout every 2-3 weeks and I have to lay face down on the table. I also have a hip that goes out but I know it can be done laying on my back. Thanks! p.s. I am 7 days post-op
lovechunks 0 Posted May 17, 2006 You there, Jack? Or does anyone else have the answer? Thanks!
Marimaru 7 Posted May 17, 2006 Dunno where Jack is, but I would say (as a matter of opinion, not medical experience) that as long as you can lay on the your stomach with no pain, and maybe press on your abdomen where your port is without pain, you could probably stand to have your back aligned. But you might wanna chat with your doc about it first.
giveyouthemoon 4 Posted May 17, 2006 I'd talk to your chiro about the band and see what he thinks....I'd also chat with the surgeon. Doesn't hurt to ask!
lovechunks 0 Posted May 18, 2006 Thanks, ladies for your kind replies. Naturally, I will discuss the matter with my docs. I was hoping to get a reply from someone who has some first-hand knowledge of back adjustments after banding. Anybody out there?
