lindsaybhill 1 Posted September 18, 2013 I am 1wk post op today. But I am so sore and literally all of my insides feel like they are in a vice. I quit taking the rx pain meds on Thursday but had to take some today. I am a Realtor so I did go back to work bit have been taking it really slow. Like to sit down or bend over to get something is painful. Is this normal or is something up?
Dbackfan 38 Posted September 18, 2013 It is normal for the most part. Give it a good two weeks. You'll have good days and bad days, but eventually it all subsides and before you know it things start to come together and you feel better with each days passing. Take it easy, take it slow and don't do any heavy lifting or strenuous work. Patience will be your toughest battle. Once you master that, life gets much easier. LapbandLo 294 Posted September 18, 2013 I had surgery this afternoon holy cow I am sore. Thank god my mom is here. She's doing everything from adjusting me on the bed and pulling my pants up after I pee. I feel so helpless!! I was gonna try to not use the RX but that's a joke, just took it! Zingythingy 210 Posted September 18, 2013 Being sore is normal.. Having someone rummage around your insides is going to be sore.. I was up and about walking/waddling really fast but did do too much too soon and ended up exhausted.. Try to take it a little easy..you still have to heal..
