Im single with no kids and will be going it alone. Im so scared, but I know what I'm doing is life changing and life saving. Hyper on line 1 0 Posted May 21, 2006 Hi I am new too. I hope everything goes your way. I feel very overwhelmed with all the pre-op planning. What planning are you doing for work and household stuff ?
Busy 0 Posted May 21, 2006 When I get to have surgery I am not telling them at work anything except that I am on vacation for a week. My husband, my daughter, (who has a family and home of her own) and a very close friend are the only people, except my lap band friends, who know I am wanting surgery. If nobody knows I have had weight loss surgery then there are no questions. My husband will take care of the household while I am recooperating...I hope!! How about yourself? DonnaB 3 Posted May 21, 2006 Hi GreatDame, Welcome to LBT and congratulations on your upcoming surgery/life change! If you need anything, please don't hesitate to ask here or PM me if you like. I don't know how much research you did but if you have any general or specific questions, LBT and most of it's members are a great source of information. Of course, you should always follow your doctors instructions over us! but it's always nice to see the range of information out there. Good luck on your weight loss journey!
