skb123 308 Posted September 16, 2013 Don't beat yourself up. As you add more foods to your diet your weight will go up and down, but it will level out best thing to do is stay away from the scale! My PC ask me not to weigh at home, she said I could come by the office and weigh anytime I want. Home scales just are not always our friend if you know what I mean. Good luck! 1 #MagicWithinme reacted to this
Redesigned_Curves 312 Posted September 16, 2013 It is most likely Water weight. You would have to had consumed around 10,500 calories to gain 3 lbs. Unless this is the case, no worries. Just keep doing what your doctor has advised and make sure you track everything you are eating. Sometimes we don't think we are eating that much until we actually sit down and add it all up. 2 ☠carolinagirl☠ and Jean McMillan reacted to this
lisacaron 5,075 Posted September 16, 2013 You just had major surgery. Your body is healing right now. It will take some time for your body to fully heal and you a little bit of weight gain is normal due to swelling and excess gas. Keep following Dr.'s orders and taking care of yourself. The weight will come off. Now is the time to focus on healing, and eating mechanics. Your doing great! Keep up the good work! 1 ☠carolinagirl☠ reacted to this
kespy74 103 Posted September 16, 2013 Weight can fluctuate 2-3 pounds, sometimes more many times in a day. Water consumption, stress, and time of day has a lot to do with it. Try not to focus on the scale, but on how you feel and how your clothes are fitting. Best of luck, you are doing awesome!! 1 ☠carolinagirl☠ reacted to this

Jean McMillan 2,973 Posted September 17, 2013 I feel your pain, but I can top your 3 lbs gained in 3 weeks. I have gained that much OVERNIGHT. During my weight loss phase, I never lost weight at a steady rate. I lost some, lost some more, gained some, lost some, and so on. food isn't the only thing that affects body weight; not all of that is within your control. Try not to let your scale mess with your head. You're the boss: put that scale in its place. Like, locked in the trunk of your car. 1 ☠carolinagirl☠ reacted to this
