I was on Clear Liquids right after surgery as tolerated, you should be sipping Water constantly so you do not dehydrate

I'm confused. You should be drinking almost immediately after surgery. Sips of Water, broth, ice pops, etc. Did you mean to say solid food and not liquids?

Whenever your doctor says you can. It's entirely up to him and his post op diet.

agree with miss, the dr's give patients a diet pre and post op, its best to follow that

everyones drs are different.....so go by what yours advises you to do..no matter

what anyone else says/advises you on this forum
