What are some Protein powders y'all like and how do you like to mix them up? I've been trying to look some up online but I think it would be easier to ask y'all.

unjury unflavored!!! It's barely detectable and you can mix it with sugar free pudding or crystal light! 21 grams per scoop and my surgeon loves it! I buy it from her office!!!! ???Š

does it dissolve well and tasteless? not gritty? I get one from GNC choc flavored that I absolutely love and 1 scoop has something like 23 or 26 grs of Protein and I mix with light vanilla soy milk and half frozen banana and blend but would like other options to use in other foods???

whey is the best! Unjury dissolves great but you have to be patient. No blenders or blender balls just a spoon and a glass :)

I really like muscle milk light, but I feel like I always have to add banana to it which adds calories. Also 1 scoop is only 12 grams or Protein for 110 calories while Unjury is 1 scoop 21 grams and 90 calories and available in ALL crystal light flavors!

Two of my favorites are:

Syntha6 - great taste and a large variety of flavors. It also has heathly fats & 5g Fiber per scoop. Throw it in bottle with a few cubes of ice and in a few shakes disolved and delicious!

Hexapro - I am currently using this. chocolate is crazy good. Blend of several Protein types. Very, very satisfying.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
