natasha12401 0 Posted September 13, 2013 Was banded 7/30/13 have a 10 cc band with one fill of 3cc. After eating certain foods ( chicken, meatballs, and omelet sometimes for example it feels like it gets stuck in the bottom of my throat near my chest. Ill burp or hiccup And after like 5 or so mins. It goes away. . Is that what is considered a stuck episode? I'm due for another 3cc fill on the 19th. Should I still get a fill? I usually last 3-4 hrs between meals and some days I'm hungrier than others. I'm sure I'm not in the green zone so I think I should keep my appointment. Maybe just chew better? Any advice would be helpful. . Thank you
feelinggood 152 Posted September 13, 2013 i think chewing more would help you a lot. it that works for you then you could consider adding a small tweak something like even .5cc or 1cc at most and see how you do with that. sometimes it's best to ease into the fills because a very small amount can make a huge difference. 2 dylanmiles23 and natasha12401 reacted to this

Chew chew chew are the rules to remember.

natasha12401 0 Posted September 14, 2013 I have to remember to chew and eat slow. Thank you...hoping no permanent damage was done. I'm a nurse and NEVER get an entire lunch break. . I'm eating while working and always feel rushed because there is ALWAYS work to be done. I have to get this figured out because when it happens it hurts!
