Kmccusker127 11 Posted September 11, 2013 Hello everyone. I am looking for a good tasting Protein supplement that I can start drinking before my surgery. I am looking for liquid b/c it is much more convenient for me with my schedule. Anyone have any recommendations? Thanks Karen
sp70 193 Posted September 11, 2013 I like the New Whey Protein Shots that have 42 grams per 4 ounces. I put 2 ounces in about 20 ounces of Water, tastes like a flavored water. They come in grape, watermelon and fruit punch. I've gotten them a Walmart. I have used Unjury Protein Powder before which is pretty good. Right now I am using powermax from GNC. They have a policy that if you buy it and don't like it, you can return it. Preop is a great time to sample around and see what you like, but keep in mind, your tastes may change a bit post op as well or you get tired of a certain type. Good luck! tla61 4 Posted September 12, 2013 I drink Premier Protein drinks, flavors are vanilla or chocolate, I prefer chocolate - I purchase mine at costco but I've heard you can also get them at Sams club. Very good flavor and convenient. 30 grams of Protein - 160 calories. 18 per case, $24.95 (in Iowa) 1 Butterflybaby reacted to this

Butterflybaby 26 Posted September 12, 2013 I drink Premier Protein from costco. chocolate is the best one. My husband, who is not banded and LOVES chocolate milk, drinks them too and he really enjoys them. I catch him sneaking them every once in a while. c: 1 tla61 reacted to this
