SandyM 1,956 Posted October 31, 2013 I set aside a bedtime snack. My favorite is 1/4 cup pecans. Lots of Fiber and some good Protein. I also make sure I allow for it in my calories. Pork rinds are sorta high fat but no carbs and I use them cuz they fill me really fast and stop cravings. These are only if a tall bottle of Water doesn't work. I find that if I have a high carb snack of any kind it just makes me crave and I snack all night. 1 dawalsh reacted to this
Cindy Amato Dashko 11 Posted October 31, 2013 what about eating pickles? I heard that it takes away hunger?
backpacking5 224 Posted October 31, 2013 I'm struggling at work, with my morning coffee sitting at my computer I 'think' I need to be munching on something. I just feel the urge to snack. My toughest part of the day is the mornings. Even with a good Breakfast I never feel quite satisfied.
dawalsh 919 Posted October 31, 2013 what about eating pickles? I heard that it takes away hunger? My surgeon told me to eat pickles whenever head hunger sets in. I've only done it twice but it works.
Christina.Rose 287 Posted November 1, 2013 what about eating pickles? I heard that it takes away hunger? I don't think it takes away hunger, it just has almost zero calories and is a decent size so you eat it and it fills you.
beanie80 146 Posted November 1, 2013 I have found that drinking tea works with my 'boredom' eating but also sugar free mints and occasionally a glass of milk. Are you exercising at all? I find I have less head hunger when I have exercised and made my body tired.
