lilmispcl 298 Posted September 8, 2013 In fall of 2011 I was kicked off a roller coaster because the safety bar would not secure because I was too fat. It was the most humiliating thing ever! My son was so upset that we couldn't ride and I felt like the worlds worst mom. Well today we went back and I rode that coaster with my kids!!! Happiest day ever! In the cart behind my minis! This is living! 15 Bandista, miznikkie08, MandaMom23 and 12 others reacted to this
gowalking 10,790 Posted September 8, 2013 What a wonderful NSV. Congrats to you for finding normalcy. I like that phrase better than losing weight, weight loss, etc. Because that takes it away from the scale and numbers and puts it where it should be. It's about living our lives like everyone else. Good for you!!

jfc193 718 Posted September 13, 2013 Terrific news, I was on a wooden roller coaster and I got in with my son and the bar did not come done properly so I had to leave the ride except that they could not release the bar. The young man had to put his foot on the bar and force it down so it would release. My son went ahead and rode the coaster by him self. Not one of my finest moments, I did lose some weight but could not keep it off as a matter of fact I went on to gain another 70 lbs. Now I can get on any coaster and not be concerned. 1 lilmispcl reacted to this
