Looking for a better weight loss or am I crazy !!!!!!

Thank you all for your replies. I am losing inches. A lot in my waist. I haven't been getting the Protein that is needed though and this maybe the problem. I am lactose intolerant so I don't do the shakes. I eat pretty good but I don't think I am eating enough and not enough protein. Just trying to get some ideas from others to see if im off track with the weight loss or just over doing it with the expectations.

Try Isopure. I deink them. 40 grams of protein and has the consistency of Water. It looks like flavored water in a bottle.

I've been using MyFitnessPal app for my phone to log food. That has been super helpful to me to know how much I'm really getting.

When i started taking Zumba the weight started falling off.... I even snack at night (not suggesting that) but I got 2 or 3 times a week and at first it was hard to keep up but by the third class it was okay!

I rarely have a shake yet I get in over 60g of protein everyday. Eating you protein/calories will keep you fuller longer than drinking them. Remember to eat your protein first.

Agree with all the above. Record record record! I think it is so important to track every single thing that goes In ur mouth . I use "calorie counter", but tons of good ones available. Plez don't compare ur weight loss with others as we are all so different with the rate of loss. Keep on keeping on , stay the course and don't get discouraged. Any loss is going in the right direction. Good luck!!!! :-)

      Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
      What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.
