LoL. Sometimes people are oblivious to their surroundings. Forgive her.... It's not like you COULD eat them even if you WANTED to.... And we all know you DON'T want to..... Right?!!

Wow... I think I'd lose my mind entirely if my mom (or anyone!) did that the day after surgery. Especially since you can't even "eat" anything but liquids!

Be strong. I know the situation is infuriating and sucks, but just remind yourself the post op diet (and your mother's visit lol) are both temporary.

Hang in there :)

Exactly! I wouldn't want to stick my finger in the cheesecake. I'm not sure if it is attempted sabatage, or...... Idk.

Yeah....sounds like a great situation! hahaha.

I'm in a similar situation. My wife is pregnant with our second and third child and she has developed gestational diabetes. She is being basically forced to eat more food and Snacks to regulate due to the twins, and has to snack a lot. She has a night time snack every night at 10:30 and the only thing that quells her morning fasting sugar number is having ice cream. Specifically, Klondike ice cream bars. It's not uncommon for her to ask me which kind she should have that night.

And then she remembers what she's doing and stops eventually.
