Faded Design 84 Posted August 30, 2013 I'd also like to know this. I'll be on mush in a few days. I've already tried some Malt-o Meal and mashed potatoes and they went down fine so I'm just going to skip the blender week and go right to the mushed week. I mashed up some clam chowder yesterday and had that, it was pretty good. I just chewed up the clams really well. The nurse gave me a paper with some stuff on it. Yours might read the same, but here we go. Soft cooked noodles in sauce. Creamy Peanut Butter.< /p> Ground meat with sauce - Like manwich. Fish without breading. Sliced deli meats.< /p> Sliced cheese.< /p> Chili. canned tuna/chicken/beef. Toasted breads. Melba toast. Crackers and dry Cereal.< /p> I'm gona try some noodles and alfredo sauce tomorrow for lunch and see how it goes. 1 kramsay1980 reacted to this
Shazam 517 Posted August 30, 2013 Well I couldn't have carbs. So did eggs in about a hundred ways like scrambled, omelets, and eggs benedict without the muffin. and cottage cheese and that I mixed with salsa to give flavor when I got tired of it. I didn't have many choices and the Protein made me feel full, so I was good with that. Lots of broth too. I still for the most part dont eat a lot of carbs, they are evil and wind up making ya hungry. It wasn't easy, but it's been worth it. 2 kramsay1980 and fee139 reacted to this

Soxking 25 Posted August 30, 2013 I roasted some vegetables in the oven - red peppers, onions, yellow squash, roma tomatoes - and then put them in the blender along with some chicken broth, salt, pepper and a little jalapeno relish. Pulverized it all and then heated it back up on the stove. Another one involved sauteeing a chicken breast, then placing that and some of the aforementioned roasted veggies into the blender with a raw egg and a bit of Tomato sauce. Again, pulverized it to a pulp and then reheated it. Almost mousse-like in consistency, but good flavor and high in Protein.< /p> Last one - my wife made meatloaf, mashed potatoes and carrots for the rest of the family. I'm partial to her meatloaf, so I pulverized it in the blender along with some cooked carrots and added that to some mashed potatoes. I'm sure I overdid the carbs that day, but the result was mushie and good. Good luck! 1 fee139 reacted to this

drehn88 251 Posted August 30, 2013 Lasagna cup 1/4 c low fat cottage cheese 1/4 c spaghetti sauce 1/4 c shredded mozzarella Optional Parmesan cheese 2 Tbsp (I think because I don't use it) Mix cottage cheese and spaghetti sauce and microwave for about 30 seconds or to desired hotness. Sprinkle cheese on top and microwave about 30 seconds more. It is so yummy and a life saver for a picky eater like me.
