Where do you lose your weight?

Recommended Posts

So I'm 4 months out and 40 pounds down. I've started (finally!) to notice differences particularly in the size of my clothing and how things fit...and I admit that I've taken to standing naked in front of the mirror...(something I can say I did NOT do before...avoided that at all costs...)

And so far...my weight is coming off in my boobs (Boooo!) and my stomach. I confirmed it with measurements...

What I want to know is when that lower belly...(Ooooh that overhang lower belly that is just killing me) is going to depart.

With my luck it will be the last thing to go.

:P

Where are you shedding your weight?

Everyone is different so no one can answer that for you.

Unfortunately, for many of us it never departs, especially if it's already hanging down. It turns into a skin apron that continues to hang and is the reason many of us (myself included) need surgery to remove it.

Maybe you'll be one of the lucky ones, though. Keep your fingers crossed.

Boobs, face, arms and butt. I'm going to need some extra help in the belly area.

Every where. A lot people lose in their shoe size, but never me, the size 12. My width did go down to a medium from a wide. I take my measurements once a month but didn't think of it until 1 1/2 months after the surgery. I have been bad for about 2 months so I have not taken any but I may soon.

Anna girl you crack me up. I can honestly say all over for me but my boobs first yay however on my part as they were in my way. As far as my belly, I do hang, probably always will as Missy said but you exercise constantly so you may not have that problem. Even my feet shrunk.

Feeling your pain there...my boobs already going... Hubby is and has been fully supportive of my band. When we first talked about it , he asked if my boob's would go, I said , most probably. If they keep going at this rate, next year I'll be having a boob job :-)

The 14th was my day. I am home and recovery is going pretty smooth. They even let me walk out of the hospital. Picture of me in recovery curtesy of my boyfriend lol.

Neat you have a pic of this day! I was sooo happy to get my surgery. It was well worth it! And I'm not even near my goal. I had surgery Dec. 2!
