I went for my 1st Post-Op check up yesterday and I was an amazing 6 pounds lighter than they expected me to be! What a great feeling! I am on liquids for 2 days after my fill (3 cc's total) but after the 2 days I can eat "normal" foods. Does anyone have any suggestions for meal planning? Or some tips on the best recipes out there? I want something that's both satisfying and healthy! Ready and excited about my lifestyle change!

I am pre-band but I make a mean cauliflower mush. Steam whole head and then use stick blender (love that thing!) or food processor to whir it up, adding organic chicken stock to achieve desired consistency. Salt, pepper and cayenne. If you like veggies, this is delicious -- very dense and filling. Need to figure Protein quotient for this as of course that's the band goal -- protein. Like I said, I'm pre-band so I don't know if this is helpful or not!

Sounds delicious! I'm going to try it in my regular everyday meal planning.

That sounds great! I'm not a big cauliflower fan but that actually sounds like something I would like and I will have to give it a try !
