Oregon Rocks 25 Posted August 24, 2013 Hello All, I can honestly say that this forum helped me to make my decision to have Lap Band surgery in November. When I make a decision, it is always after A LOT of research. I appreciate everyone's honesty and support of others on this site. I just turned 45 and I am a happily married mother of two. I am also a 2nd grade teacher in Oregon. With the school year about to start, I have such a positive attitude. I have come to realize that it is because I have committed to surgery and I have HOPE for the first time in years. I am looking forward to this journey and sharing it with others 7 ShastaPants, Bandista, JOANNE M HOLL and 4 others reacted to this
