Mrs Sabre 1 Posted May 12, 2006 OK folks, now that it's getting real, I'm looking at various products that are available specifically for WLS. I'm looking for opinions on these: Have any of you tried Queasy Pops? They're offered by Bariatric Advantage and are suppose to help with nausea. Any other products that are WLS specific that you'd recommend?
cindyn 0 Posted May 12, 2006 I heard that powders?utm_source=BariatricPal&utm_medium=Affiliate&utm_campaign=CommentLink" target="_ad" data-id="1" >unjury Protein powder is great. You can get in unflavored and flavored. I am in process myself of getting the band. I have all my required appointments set and have met surgeon but will most likely not be until end of summer. Iplan of getting some of unflavored Protein stuff. www.unjury.com
Anwyn 0 Posted May 12, 2006 I had my doctor write me a prescription for Phenerghen suppositories for nausea to have on hand if I ever get sick. I've never tried Queasy pops, but I did try Preggie Pops for nausea when I was pregnant and they worked pretty well. I'm guessing it's the same company since the names are so similar. gordonfamily3 0 Posted May 12, 2006 We have them @ the store. No getting sick hasn't ever been a problem for me...but everyone is different. I love the unjury choc. it's so GOOD - like a wendy's frosty. I have just tried Protien Delite White Choc w/ strawberry. YUMMY it had little strawberry chucks. It was great. I have a few more to try that a customer gave me....they smell great. Mrs Sabre 1 Posted May 16, 2006 Vicky, Kim is talking about Dr. Voellinger's office. They're starting an e-store at www.southeastbariatrics.com, and are starting to carry products in the office too. As for unjury Protein, it's available at www.unjury.com. I just ordered some of the unflavored to mix with Soups, etc., while I'm on full liquids ... starting on Monday
