ms kat 25 Posted August 19, 2013 I am so happy to say I am only two weeks out and feeling fantastic! I am down 15 pounds and have been feeling unstoppable! I went to a party yesterday which was a sit down dinner at a restaurant, I am on mushiness and had a little eggplant. Very little! And some grilled zucchini, I was full, socialized and had no problems with what I ate. I get my first fill on sept 12th and I can't wait to really kick start my weight loss. I am walking every day with my dog one mile. I will increase as I get more endurance. Since I am eating very few calories, I get a bit tired. I know the first 4 weeks is for healing, which I have no pain other than a little tenderness where my port is. I have not lost any more pounds in the last 4 days, but I know that is normal and to just keep keeping on.! One question...after my fill, will the weight loss accelerate? 2muchfun 8,927 Posted August 19, 2013 Maybe? Getting a fill is no guarantee of weight loss. Losing fat will always be the result of eating fewer calories than you burn. Fills will make your band tighter and could give you more restriction/satiety. It's the satiety you want to find. With satiety you can eat less and eat less often. If you are eating healthy foods, you're probably eating fewer calories. It all adds up to losing fat. It took me 3 fills before I felt satiety and started to lose weight. Your results can and most likely will be different. tmf
