I feel it more towards the left side, has anyone else experienced this?

I was banded Aug 9 ,2013 and had a hernia repair too, i also had more throbbing pain on my left side which Im guessing was gas now 6 days post it has diminished a lot

Went on to see my doc and he mentioned that its something to do with my lungs, I need to be blowing in that tube thing more
