LapbandLo 294 Posted August 7, 2013 So my surgery will most likely be end of sept/early october due to my surgeon being busy... Ahhhh the waiting game. Anyway, on my commute this morning I was thinking that meal time is going to be A LOT different in the near future. What are some good meals/recommendations to keep things interesting. I eat with my eyes and I'm hoping I can get away from that soon :/
olliensys 53 Posted August 7, 2013 Hello, since Protein Shakes are a large part of pre op and post op diet, I would suggest getting a book called "Bariatric Foodie Guide to Perfect Protein Shakes" on Amazon for $11.66. This book is so amazing and I use it almost everyday. 1 jennybean reacted to this
GuyMontag 1,264 Posted August 7, 2013 When you're on the mushie stage the best thing I found was 'mushie' lasagna. It's low fat ricotta cheese, spaghetti sauce, garlic powder, and some shredded mozzarella on top. Just microwave for a minute or so and eat! It really helps with the italian food cravings that come from not eating pizza or Pasta.< /p> 1 LapbandLo reacted to this
