Post-Op Doctor's Visit

I had my first post-op visit with my surgeon yesterday and everything is going well so far. He checked the incisions (2) and I had to ask where my port is because I had no idea! I thought it was where I have a huge bruise (doesn't hurt) but apparently that's where the shot for heparin was given. My port is to the right of my belly button. I scheduled my first fill, for the 23rd and spoke with the nutritionist about what to expect in terms of a post-fill diet. I also learned that there is no Fluid in my band at this time (I had read that some have a bit of Fluid placed during surgery). I do feel less hungry than I ever thought I would be during the post-op diet. However I am looking forward to scrambled egg and tuna come Friday and ultimately to a fill that is right for me.
