dsferfeargregrhgttrhht 49 Posted August 3, 2013 I haven't posted much here, but I've been lurking a lot! I was banded on 7/25 and the range of emotions has gone from googling "lapband removal" when I was so nauseated and in tons of pain . . . to today where I finally feel like myself again and even left the house for the first time. I'm glad to be feeling better and look forward to the next step. I've been on liquids for over 3 weeks now (both pre- and post-op) and I'm ready for mushies!! GuyMontag 1,264 Posted August 5, 2013 The band definitely has its ups and downs, that's for sure! Usually more ups than downs though.

SandyM 1,956 Posted August 6, 2013 You're getting there. Just remember when you start eating, slow and chew very well so you can possibly avoid some of the other "downs" of the lapband like getting stuck.
SueBee01 630 Posted August 6, 2013 I always feared the "getting stuck" and it has helped me to take small bites, eat slow and follow the rules.
