3mommy 52 Posted August 1, 2013 I'm feeling pretty good just exhausted, it's no joke when they say they make you walk every 2 hours even at night. I am having some gas pains around my tummy and I am very sore. I was able to drink fine this morn and I ate some puréed chicken and green Beans for lunch. It was 2oz of meat and 1/2 cup veggies and I could barely get halfway through. Not drinking with my meal was a tough adjustment. I kept instinctively reaching for the cup lol. I am soooooo happy I made this decision. It still seems so unreal. 1 Countryheart2000 reacted to this

☠carolinagirl☠ 18,721 Posted August 1, 2013 you are still extremely swollen from surgery and am surprised you are eating...a lot of us was on liquids for 1 to 2 weeks after.....i suggest to sip slowly and keep on sipping to allow you insides to heal..as the swelling subsides, you will be able to eat/drink more/better.....but for heaven sakes, dont rush anything (even if you saw it elsewhere)...take care and rest when you need to 1 fearfefe reacted to this

I'm allowed mushie puréed foods only for one month. I'm ok eating but I eat about 2-3 tablespoons of food and then I can't eat anymore. food is staying down well. It's the gas and the soreness that's getting me.
