Non-cream pureed soups

Recommended Posts

Can anyone tell me what this actually might mean? I understand non-cream and puréed but does that mean that any non-cream Soup can be puréed and enjoyed? This is part of my stage 2 (week 2) post op diet.

I'm pretty sure the staff at my surgeon's office wants to kill me with all of my questions!! Bringing it to the forum while I wait for a callback.

Thanks!

This is strictly my interpretation, but I take to mean you can have both non-cream AND puree'd. If the Soup is puree'd or liquid already, then you don't have to puree it. But if it has chunks, then you have to puree it first.

Just curious, are you not allowed cream Soups at all?

yes you can puree anything.. if you want chicken noodle Soup, just puree it.. I ate cream of tomatoe and potatoe soup when I was on the creamy stage. just strained the potatoes out...

Spoke to the nutritionist. No cream Soups. Nothing with meat, rice or Pasta or potatoes. So basically Tomato I can eat as is and I can purée vegetable Soup. Thanks everyone.
