Baseball and pureed food

Recommended Posts

I'm going to an atl braves game and I'm one week post op, allowed puréed food. I think with travel to the game and the length of the game and the fact that I'm still hungry all the time I might need something. Any ideas? Thanks in advance

I went to a dbacks game one week out. I brought a Protein Shake and the security gave me some grief of it not being allowed in the park. I lift my shirt to show them the stiches and bandages. Said I was on a medically supervised diet and they waived me right in. Sad part is once you are in, there is not a lot of food you can really eat one week or even one year post op. BTW how is Upton working out for you guys?

I was going to tell you same as Gary. I've been to many many ballgames and know that they do not want you to bring your own food/drinks into the stadium. You may have to explain as Gary did why you are bringing your own food/drinks. He is also correct in that there is likely nothing in the park that you can purchase that would fit the criteria for pureed foods. It might be worth it for you to contact the ballpark to get feedback on how they will deal with your need to bring your own meals and drinks to the game so you have no issues once you get there.

Turns out they allow soft sided coolers so I guess it's Protein Shakes. I was hoping for something more exciting. Not really following the braves this year...free tix. Thanks

Had a sleeve in 2017, lost over 100 pounds. Had a DS surgery this year (2025) for more sustainable weight loss. 🤞

The 14th was my day. I am home and recovery is going pretty smooth. They even let me walk out of the hospital. Picture of me in recovery curtesy of my boyfriend lol.

Neat you have a pic of this day! I was sooo happy to get my surgery. It was well worth it! And I'm not even near my goal. I had surgery Dec. 2!
