jackie0214 36 Posted July 29, 2013 I'm going to an atl braves game and I'm one week post op, allowed puréed food. I think with travel to the game and the length of the game and the fact that I'm still hungry all the time I might need something. Any ideas? Thanks in advance

AZ Gary 149 Posted July 29, 2013 I went to a dbacks game one week out. I brought a Protein Shake and the security gave me some grief of it not being allowed in the park. I lift my shirt to show them the stiches and bandages. Said I was on a medically supervised diet and they waived me right in. Sad part is once you are in, there is not a lot of food you can really eat one week or even one year post op. BTW how is Upton working out for you guys? gowalking 10,790 Posted July 29, 2013 I was going to tell you same as Gary. I've been to many many ballgames and know that they do not want you to bring your own food/drinks into the stadium. You may have to explain as Gary did why you are bringing your own food/drinks. He is also correct in that there is likely nothing in the park that you can purchase that would fit the criteria for pureed foods. It might be worth it for you to contact the ballpark to get feedback on how they will deal with your need to bring your own meals and drinks to the game so you have no issues once you get there. jackie0214 36 Posted July 29, 2013 Turns out they allow soft sided coolers so I guess it's Protein Shakes. I was hoping for something more exciting. Not really following the braves this year...free tix. Thanks
