amcolling 4 Posted July 29, 2013 I really hope someone can help me understand what is going on. An hour or so after eating, even bland normal things I get this intense burning in my stomach and lower back. I then start to burp non stop, I'm assuming gas build up? I've experimented with many different foods, it happens with almost everything.
amcolling 4 Posted July 29, 2013 I'm almost 9 months out from surgery. Everything has been fine up until recently. I take gas-x and it helps and I put an ice pack on my back and stomach. But the pain is horrible. I am barely eating anything in fear of this happening.

Whatever the case, it's not normal and needs to be looked at by your doctor. 2 ☠carolinagirl☠ and SageTracey reacted to this
amcolling 4 Posted July 29, 2013 I called them and they wanted me to come in for an unfill. I don't think they are related. I've been in my comfort zone for six months now and I've been doing great. I don't want to mess with the green zone. We are leaving for vacation tomorrow and this couldn't be happening at a worse time.
SageTracey 608 Posted July 29, 2013 Your vacation will be miserable if you don't get this sorted out. I strongly encourage you to insist on seeing your dr today and telling him/her why you don't think you need an unfill. But remember, they are the experts and have almost certainly seen your situation before. Best of luck. (I have vacation time booked from next week and am planning to go away with my husband, but we are looking to defer our departure date as I am waiting on test results - not related to band. So I can understand your concern.) 1 ☠carolinagirl☠ reacted to this

The Green Zone is useless if you lose your band trying to preserve it. Band complications always get worse the longer they go untreated. 3 ☠carolinagirl☠, dawalsh and dylanmiles23 reacted to this
